October 4, 2004 - With strip-style, open frame construction, LPS50 Series PCB switching power supplies accept universal input from 85-265 Vac, and 6 models provide single outputs from 3.3-48 Vdc. Series features output adjustment potentiometer and operates over ambient temperature range of 0 to +50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models have over voltage and short circuit protection circuitry as well as internal input EN61000 compliant EMI filter.

Designed to meet the space and performance needs in instrumentation, industrial controls, embedded systems and telecommunications applications, ASTRODYNE announces the LPS50 Series product line of PCB switching power supplies that provide output power of 50 Watts. All models accept universal input from 85-265VAC and 6 models are available that provide single outputs from 3.3 to 48VDC. The LPS50-Series provides a power solution in applications requiring a high density packaged open-frame power supply. This series features an output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0 to +50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over voltage and short circuit protection circuitry and an internal input EN61000 compliant EMI filter. Dimensions are 7.7"L X 2.2"W X 0.9"H and all models are designed to accept industry standard Molex-style input/output connectors.
