Offered in models with 12 and 24 in. belt widths, DEA Open Frame Weighbelt Feeder provides weight controlled feeding, weight indication, and totalization for fragile materials like cereals, snack foods, kibble, fruits, and pasta. System features tool-less belt removal, IP69K stainless steel load cell, 316 stainless product contact surfaces, and shaft-mounted, washdown drive system for power transmission. Feed rates up to 2,660 ft³/hr are achievable.

New Open Frame Weighbelt Feeder for Sanitary Processes
Schenck AccuRate announces the release of the new DEA Open Frame Weighbelt Feeder. Designed specifically for sanitary processes the new weighbelt features tool-less, rapid belt removal for frequent cleaning cycles, an IP69K stainless steel load cell manufactured to withstand high pressure spray, a shaft mounted, wash-down drive system for simple power transmission, and product contact surfaces with 316 stainless steel.
The DEA Open Frame Weighbelt Feeder provides weight controlled feeding, weight indication and totalization for fragile materials like cereals, snack foods, kibble, fruits, and pasta. Like other Schenck AccuRate DEA Weighbelt Feeders the sanitary open frame is offered in models with 12" and 24" belt widths, BIC (belt weight influence compensation), and accuracies of ± 0.25% to 1% of set rate sigma.
A v-profile belt guide provides reliable tracking and minimal hardware requirements while a gravity-assist head pulley scraper and an internal plow automatically clean both sides of the belt. Feed rates up to 2,660 cubic feet per hour are achievable with the new DEA Open Frame Weighbelt Feeder.
