Designed and safety approved for commercial or medical applications, 2 x 4 in. PM100 Series provides 100 W of power at up to 50°C, and derated power from 50-70°C. It provides single outputs of 5-48 Vdc, from 90-132 or 180-264 Vac autoranging input, and requires no minimum load for start up. RoHS compliant unit features overvoltage and overcurrent protection as standard and achieves MTBF of 270,000 hr. Unit also meets EN55011 and EN55022 Class B for radiated and conducted EMI.

Protek Power Announces 2" x 4" 100W Convection Cooled Power Supply
September 17, 2009 - Hudson, MA - Protek Power, a power supply industry leader for more than 25 years, announces the PM100 Series, a high efficiency, high power density, open frame AC/DC power supply.
Designed and safety approved for either commercial or medical applications, the compact 2" x 4" PM100 Series provides 100W of power at convection cooling, making them ideal for designs where space is at a premium and there is little or no airflow. Full power is provided up to 50°C, with derated power from 50°C to 70°C.
Single outputs, ranging from 5VDC to 48VDC, are provided from a 90-132VAC or 180-264VAC autoranging input. Leakage current is specified at 150µA maximum, at 264VAC. No minimum load is required for start up or to maintain listed specifications.
Efficiency is up to 90%, the units achieve a MTBF of 270,000 hours, and are RoHS compliant. Overvoltage and overcurrent protection are standard. Worldwide safety approvals are completed to both EN60950-1 and medical EN60601-1 standards. The PM100 Series meets EN55011 and EN55022 Class B for radiated and conducted EMI.
