They absorb vibration to cushion and insulate cables, tubing, hoses, or shafts. Products have split ring design and are offered in 9 sizes to fit ½â€“1½ in. dia holes. They snap into place with fingertip pressure and accommodate any shape to 1.062 in. dia.

Product Applications: Heyco's Universal Bushings with Open/Close Rings are designed to mount around pre-assembled wires, cable and hose bundles, routing them and securing them inside electrical panels of all kinds. They absorb vibration and/or cushion and insulate cables, tubing, hoses or shafts where limited internal clearance is a particular problem or varying size is a challenge.
Product Description: Universal Bushings with Open/Close Rings have a split design. It allows side entry and permits use with pre-assembled wire harnesses, capillary tubes and other through-routed assemblies that have larger segments than the inside diameter of ordinary bushings would permit. The split design also allows assembly into holes with existing cables or tubing.
Nine sizes fit ½-inch- to 1-½-inch-diameter holes, for high in-field versatility. Heyco's Open/Close Universal Bushings snap into place with fingertip pressure and accommodate any shape to a maximum diameter of 1.062-inches.
Construction & Finishes: Heyco Open/Close Universal Bushings with Flexible Shutters are molded in Heyco's own state-of-the-art U.S. plant of high-impact Type 6/6 nylon. It conforms to ASTM standard D-4066-PA 111, has flammability classification of 94V-2 with a temperature index of 125° C.
Colors are injection-molded directly with the nylon to create uniform and consistent solid-colored parts. Open/Close Universal Bushings are available from stock in Black. White, standard or custom colors readily available via special order. Open/Close Universal Bushings with Flexible Rings are UL recognized under file #E-15331.
