Large Variety of One Piece Interfaces for Rugged Applications Offered by Samtec

One Piece Interfaces are ideal for high shock/vibration applications due to their robust design and treaded inserts to secure the connectors to the boards. Samtec's One Piece Interfaces can provide a low system cost for board stacking by reducing the number of components required to be purchased and processed. They can also improve quality over elastomerics and pin-and-socket systems due to their more reliable connections and the elimination of bent pins.

Dual row interfaces on 1mm (.0394") pitch provide a range of board spacings from 3mm (.118"), 6mm (.236"), and 10mm (.394") (FSI Series) between boards with up to fifty pins per row. For ultra low profile applications on 1mm (.0394") pitch, board spacings of .025" (.635mm), .050" (1,27mm), and .065" (1,65mm) are available (SEI and SEL Series) with up to thirty contacts in a single row.

Systems on .100" (2,54mm) pitch include one piece power interfaces (OPP Series) with a 3mm (.118") profile and up to ten contacts and signal interconnects (SIB Series) with .150" (3,81mm) profile and up to thirty contacts.

Pricing starts at $0.04 - $0.06 per line.
