Positive locking of mated connection can be heard via audible click, and polarized housings prevent mismating of circuits.

Tyco Electronics Introduces New One-Piece Connector for HVAC Motors
-- Ergonomically Friendly Design Provides Positive Locking to Motor Tabs --
HARRISBURG, Pa. - March 4, 2008 - The new Positive Lock HVAC Motor Connectors offer a one-piece housing to make it faster and easier to connect wiring harnesses to high-efficiency HVAC blower motors. Building on the proven Mark III Positive Lock Connector System, the new HVAC connectors are available in four- and five-position housings to allow fast, positive connections to the motor's power and discrete speed tap control contact tabs. The connectors are designed for easy use, with low mating forces, positive locking of the mated connection with an audible click, and polarized housings to prevent mismating of circuits.
The four-position housing is designed for use with power connections, providing three 187 Series receptacles for L, G, and N line-voltage circuits and a single 250 Series receptacle for the low-voltage signal common. For discrete speed tap control, the five position housing uses 250 Series receptacles. Receptacle terminals are available to cover a wire range from 12 to 22 AWG.
Positive Lock HVAC Motor Connectors are UL recognized, CSA certified, and compliant with RoHS requirements. Housings carry a 94V-0 flammability rating.
