Emerson Offers Clear Choice for Turbidity Measurement with New Clarity II On-line Turbidity System

Irvine, Calif. (June 14, 2004) - Under today's stringent regulations, drinking water plants do not have a choice about whether or not they measure turbidity. But with the new Rosemount Analytical Clarity II(TM) on-line turbidimeter from Emerson Process Management, plants now have choices in turbidity measurement. The Rosemount Analytical Clarity II turbidimeter from Emerson Process Management enables drinking water plants to continuously monitor turbidity levels on-line to ensure the protection of water quality, while meeting even the most stringent EPA requirements, as well as international ISO standards. The Clarity II on-line turbidity system will be demonstrated at AWWA 2004 in booth number 2361, June 13-17, 2004, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

"With the Clarity II on-line turbidimeter, plants can choose between single or dual channel, a more cost-effective option for plants with multiple filter beds; and between solutions that meet U.S. EPA or international ISO standards," said John Wright, vice president of marketing, Emerson Process Management, Rosemount Analytical. "The Clarity II on-line turbidimeter incorporates proven, patented Rosemount Analytical technology for accuracy, is easy to install and use, and is backed by the award-winning customer service Emerson is known for."

The Rosemount Analytical Clarity II features patented technology that's demonstrated to be easy to use and calibrate, reducing maintenance requirements and man-hours. The system is delivered completely "plug and plumb" so there is no additional sensor wiring required, making installation fast and easy. This technology is also backed by an industry-leading two-year warranty and customer service and support from Emerson Process Management.

The Clarity II on-line turbidity system incorporates the industry-leading Solu Comp II analyzer, a sensor and a sampling chamber. The cost-effective Clarity II on-line turbidity system is currently available.
