Xactly Introduces Incent 4.0 for Enhanced On-Demand Sales Compensation Management


Newest release streamlines workflows, ability to manage change, and user interface enhancements

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 28 -- Xactly Corporation, the leader in on-demand sales performance management, today announced a major new release of its flagship on-demand sales compensation management application, Xactly Incent. A 100-percent Software-as-Service (SaaS) solution, Xactly Incent 4.0 delivers enhancements that enable customers to optimize their sales incentive compensation programs even more easily and economically, including new capabilities for managing compensation in dynamically changing sales organizations, and streamlining and deepening sales-user visibility into orders and incentive payments.

The market's first on-demand sales compensation management solution, Xactly Incent is Xactly's centerpiece application in addressing the emerging Sales Performance Management (SPM) market. Companies use Xactly Incent to design, manage and audit sales compensation programs to their specific business needs. In automating sales compensation management, Xactly Incent consolidates valuable post-sales data that can also be leveraged across numerous complementary applications, including the newly announced Xactly Analytics application that addresses sales performance analysis needs of sales and finance management (see today's accompanying release).

New advantages from Xactly Incent 4.0 include:

It also delivers a new sales incentive dashboard that provides users with high-level graphical access to information, with the ability to quickly access incentive and order details. New team reports, meanwhile, are designed to enhance privacy and security.
-- Managing Business Change with People Effective Dating. Effective dating is the ability to track changes over time that impact incentive compensation calculations and reporting. In this case, Xactly Incent 4.0 enables easier, much less time-intensive management, auditing and reporting of personnel-related issues, such as name changes as well as salary, target and bonus changes that affect compensation processing. Multiple versions of the same person can be created to reflect their status at various points in time.
-- Managing Organizational Change with Hierarchy and Named Relationship Effective Dating. Xactly Incent 4.0 extends effective dating to the organizational realm with hierarchy and named relationship effective dating, for tracking changes to assignments and relationships due to restructuring, expansion and acquisition. Again, multiple versions of individuals can be created for accurate tracking over time, with visibility increased into historic changes.
-- Greater Administrator Efficiency. Xactly 4.0 features advanced search capabilities, which reduce the time required to access specific information. A new "where used" function quickly and automatically shows how objects, such as effective dating objects (title change, named relationship change, etc.), relate to other items, thus eliminating manual relationship tracking.
