MaxLite's LED 15-watt Omni Lamp Receives ENERGY STAR Rating

ENERGY STAR Qualified Light Source Delivers 80 Percent Savings

West Caldwell, New Jersey — MaxLite®, a leading marketer and manufacturer of innovative, energy-efficient LED lamps and fixtures, announces the addition of its LED 15-watt Omnidirectional A19 Lamp in 3000K correlated color temperature (CCT) to the company’s extensive list of ENERGY STAR® qualified lighting products. The ENERGY STAR LED Omni Lamp, which is offered in a standard medium or a GU24 base, enables easy screw-in installation to retrofit existing table and floor lamps, ceiling fixtures, sconces and pendants in residential and commercial applications.

“The ENERGY STAR-rated LED Omni lamp supports our commitment to developing energy-efficient lighting in the marketplace,” said MaxLite’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Engineering Pat Treadway. “This new offering is a great extension of our existing seven- and 10-watt Omnidirectional A19 in the line up now.”

The 15-watt Omni is a high quality replacement for a 75-watt incandescent that yields 80 percent in energy savings. The highly versatile, energy-efficient light source creates soft ambient lighting with substantial efficacy and long life and is offered in 2700K and ENERGY STAR-rated 3000K color temperatures with up to 1100 lumens. The LED lamp is also offered in a GU24 base in 2700K, 3000K and 4100K color temperatures.

The LED Omni lamp replicates an incandescent bulb’s 300-degree beam angle, delivers consistent light from the socket base and above in all directions, and is dimmable down to 10 percent on a wide variety of control systems.

The LED lamp incorporates a multi-layered smooth and tapered heat sink that maximizes lumen maintenance with LEDs which are strictly matched for color quality and consistency and is engineered with a proprietary solid aluminum housing for thermal heat protection that keeps the junction temperature well below specification, resulting in cool operation and long lumen maintenance.

MaxLite provides an extensive line of ENERGY STAR-qualified lamps, including other LED A-Types, LED BRs, globes, MR16s, PARs and candle styles, and CFLs featuring spirals and covered A-types and PARs.
