September 16, 2003 - Corrosion-proof MAXI-Skimmer™ Model SSV/5 is made of stainless steel, nylon, and UHMW bearing-grade polymer. With frame that measures 6 x 8 x 12 in., machine uses 1–4 in. wide polyurethane or stainless steel belt that can reach from 1–50 ft. down. Oil collection rate, from near 0 to 20 gph, is adjusted by rotating knob on control panel. Incoming 115 V power is converted to drive unit's 90 Vdc gearmotor.

New Product - Adjustable Rate Oil Skimmer!
Wayne Products Inc., announces a new product - the MAXI-Skimmerâ„¢ Model SSV/5 Variable Collection Rate Oil Skimmer - the only one available! Included accessories are a timer for automatic control, a ground fault interrupter for electrical safety, a three foot hose for the oil outlet and a handle for portability. Cost is extremely competitive to other belt skimmers on the market!
Model SSV/5 is designed for wastewater needs, monitoring wells and large metalworking coolant tanks & partswashers. The standard design uses a 4" wide polyurethane or stainless steel belt that can reach from 1 - 50 ft. down. 1", 2" or 3" belts are available. Custom units can be made for OEM needs.
The oil collection rate is adjusted by rotating a small knob on the control panel. It can adjust from near 0 to 20 gallons per hour (per lab tests). Most useful for applications where the oil removal rate is not known, or varies from time to time or there may be a need to remove it faster or slower. Model SSV/5 is also totally corrosion-proof (motor excepted) being made of stainless steel, nylon and UHMW bearing-grade polymer. Incoming 115v power is converted to drive the 90vdc gearmotor. The frame measures only 6" wide x 8" high x 12" long (with motor). Shipping weight is approx. 15 lbs. Optional accessories include a stand for discharge into a 55 gal. collection drum and a gravity-type oil/water separator to provide 100% oil.
