November 8, 2001 - MAXI-Skimmerâ„¢ Model VSSP/4 belt skimmer is capable of lifting floating oil at variable rates from 1 to 20 gph. Stainless steel or polyurethane belts can reach down from 1 to 50 ft below skimmer. Construction includes stainless steel frame sides, top and wetted parts. Drive pulley bodies are glass-filled nylon, and scraper blade and frame ends are bearing grade UHMW polymer. Input voltage is 115/1/60 which is transformed to drive its 12 Vdc gearmotor.

New 1 - 20 Gals/hr. (Variable Speed) Oil Skimmer!

Wayne Products Inc. introduces a new MAXI-Skimmerâ„¢ Model VSSP/4 - a reasonably priced belt skimmer capable of lifting floating oil at variable rates! VSP The VSSP/4 is designed for use in industrial/commercial wastewater, water treatment, or any other place where floating oil is needed to be removed. It costs much less than any other comparable belt skimmer!

The benefits of a variable rate oil skimmer are realized with applications having variable oil flows entering the sumps or tanks. Just about any amount of oil can be removed in the same amount of time with a twist of the speed control knob! Or the job of removing oils can be speeded up as needed without added cost! Stainless steel or polyurethane belts can reach down from 1 ft. to 50 ft. below the skimmer!

The VSPP/4 is totally corrosion-resistant too! The frame sides and top are made of stainless steel, as are most of the wetted parts, including the tail pulley, collecting trough, motor shaft extension, drive pulley ends and all fasteners. The body of the drive pulleys is glass-filled nylon. The scraper blade and 'frame ends are bearing grade UHMW polymer! Input voltage is 115/1/60 which is transformed to drive the 12 vdc gearmtor. A simple dial knob located near the motor controls the speed from "off" to maximum.

The VSPP/4 System complete with accessories which include a timer for automatic control, a ground fault interrupter for electrical protection and a three foot outlet extension hose. An adjustable stand for discharging collected oil into drums is optional.
