June 25, 2002 - Visiflow® extends life of mechanical vacuum pumps using fluids such as Fomlin, Krytox, and Halovac in highly corrosive applications by up to 200%. Featuring 2 clear-plastic 10 in. sumps, self-contained system has quick disconnects for fast filter changeovers. Replaceable filter elements, including cellulose acetate, activated alumina, activated charcoal, Sodasorb®, and Polypro® are offered in 2 to 90 micrometer sizes.

Vacuum Pump Oil Filtration System Permits Instant Filter Changes

A self-contained vacuum pump oil filtration system for highly corrosive applications, that permits instant filter changes to minimize downtime, is available from MV Products of North Billerica, Massachusetts.

The MV VisiFlow® Oil Filtration System extends the life of mechanical vacuum pumps using fluids such as Fomlin, Krytox, and Halovac in highly corrosive applications by up to 200%, depending upon the application, claims the firm. Featuring two clear plastic 10" sumps which let users visually monitor the
pump fluid's condition, this self-contained oil filtration system has quick-disconnects to permit fast, clean filter changeovers with minimal downtime.

Available with two extra filter assemblies to instantly replace the contaminated ones in-line, the modular MV VisiFlow® Oil Filtration System has a metal tray with a built-in drip pan and handle. A variety of replaceable filter elements including cellulose acetate, activated alumina, activated charcoal, Sodasorb® and Polypro® in 2 micrometer to 90 micrometer sizes are offered.

The MV VisiFlow® Oil Filtration System is priced from $2,025.00 (list), depending upon the filter elements; additional filter assemblies are $220.00 each. Literature and pricing are available upon request.
