Trico Launches New Line of Oil Containers
Pewaukee, WI – Trico Corporation, a leader in total lubrication management services and products, recently launched the Spectrum Oil Containers – a new product which provides an error-free solution to identify, store, transport and dispense lubricants in a wide variety of applications.
The products are durable and built with High Density Polyethylene to perform in hostile environments. The containers have a wide opening for rapid no-spill filling and are available in 2, 3, and 4 gallon sizes. They are semi-transparent with molded volume markings, in gallons and liters, to provide visual monitoring of fluid levels. They contain three handles with contoured finger grips to provide a comfortable and secure hold. In addition, the uniquely contoured containers fit the forearm of the user to help distribute the weight of the container when pouring.
The lids are available in 4 different styles depending on application. They contain a Buna-N O-ring to seal lubricant from the external environment. The nozzles contain textured areas that provide a comfortable slip-resistant grip.
The Spectrum Oil Containers offer users an excellent way to keep lubricants free from dust, dirt, water and other machine-damaging contaminants. In addition, they reduce the risk of lubricant misapplication by ensuring the right lubricant is delivered to the right equipment each time. They promote a fully integrated visual lubrication management system, using color-coded lids and writable “contents” label to identify lubricant type. The lids are available in 10 colors. Plus a secondary color option is available with the Breather Vent providing up to 100 color options. The system enables users to identify lubricants, while ensuring accurate and consistent delivery.
