Featuring 17 in., 1,680 x 1,050 resolution display, NextBook17E is powered by 2.66 GHz Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo processor and is upgradeable to 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. It supports Windows XP Pro/Vista/2003 Server as well as concurrent use and dual boot environments. Along with PCI Express 16x graphics and 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet capabilities, configuration includes up to 4 GB DDR2-SDRAM, 4 USB 2.0 ports, up to two 160 GB 7,200 rpm SATA drives, and DVDRW drive.

Nashua, NH - August 1, 2007 - NextComputing, a high performance mobile computer manufacturer, introduces its most powerful notebook yet, the NextBook17E. This latest model incorporates the Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo, a dual core processor at 2.66GHz, and is upgradeable to the Intel® Core(TM) 2 Extreme processor, which boasts 2.93 GHz.

They are all server class, performing at the level of much larger, stationary computers in the convenience of a take along chassis.
