May 20, 2002 - Metallized-polypropylene PGWA Series has wrap-and-fill construction with axial-lead terminations. Dissipation ratings are less than 0.04% and IR is better than 30,000 Kohms. Series features pulse rise time of 600 v/microsec and voltages to 15 KVdc. Seven values are supplied in standard decade sizes as well as special values and sizes. Applications include medical equipment, lasers, hi-voltage power supplies, and test instrumentation.

15KV Non-Inductive Polypropylene Capacitors

Westwood, NJ, April 2002... Very high insulation resistance, excellent pulse rise time and low dissipation factors plus capacitance ratings to 10,000pF are among the quality performance characteristics of the new series PGWA non-inductive metallized polypropylene capacitors from Seacor, Inc. of Westwood, NJ.

These high reliability devices offer superior performance over ceramic, polyester and inductive capacitors, have wrap and fill construction and feature easy-to-mount axial lead terminations. Dissipation ratings are: (df) <0.04%; IR is better than 30,000 Kohm; pulse rise time is 600v/microsec; voltages range to 15KVDC (2KVAC) and capacitance ratings are from 1500 to 10000pF. Seven values are supplied in standard decade sizes as well as special
values and sizes.

Key applications include use with medical equipment, lasers, hi-voltage power supplies and test instrumentation.
