Uson Offers New Larger Pouch and Bag Non-Destructive Leak Detection System
HOUSTON (August 15, 2005) - Uson, the world leader in the precision leak and flow tester market, today announced the new Qualipak - L 783, a flexible, repeatable non-destructive leak test system that combines economy with accuracy, allows for normal packaging to be returned to the line, and the contents of leaking packages to be reclaimed. The tester, for use in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and medical industries, is capable but not limited to finding leaks as small as 25 microns. The Qualipak-L Test System consists of one Uson Model 1100 test instrument, a vacuum source and a chamber manufactured of aluminium. Infills are used for volume reduction and allow for varying container sizes to be tested in the same chamber with minimum changeover time and expense. The Uson Model 1100 controls the evacuation of the chamber, monitors the changes in force exerted by the container during the test cycle. Designed as an audit tester, the chamber can accommodate up to 30" x 24" x 8" gusseted bag. Each test cycle usually lasts less than one minute.
The tester is easy to set up and use; has an anodized aluminum chamber and base; has auto sensor height adjustment; has custom volume filling infill; great flexibility; a PCMCIA card slot; touch screen input; pressure plot graphics; robust bench top design to be onsite with the package sealing equipment. Custom chambers are also available. The Qualipak-L 781 chamber size is 13"x 10"x 8", and the Qualipak-L 782 chamber size 24"x 18"x 3".
