C&K's New Longer-wearing 5 mil Blue Nitrile Gloves Provide Effective Barrier Protection

as well as enhanced dexterity, comfort and grip.

January 27, 2003- C&K Manufacturing and Sales Co., LLC introduces new nitrile gloves for comfortable, light-duty barrier protection with high resistance to snags, nicks and abrasion. Designed to provide longer-wearing protection, C&K's single-use, single-wall nitrile gloves are 5 mil thick, as opposed to the 4 mil thickness common to other single-use gloves. Nitrile gloves provide enhanced dexterity and sense of touch when compared to latex and vinyl. Nitrile is also three times more puncture resistant than latex of the same thickness.

C&K's nitrile protective gloves feature a textured grip and beaded cuff. The gloves are ideal for labs, foodservice, light-duty manufacturing, painting, meat and food processing and light-maintenance operations.

The company's nitrile gloves are blue in color. 9-1/2" long and are available lightly powdered and powder-free. A variety of sizes are available.

The long-wearing protection is free of natural rubber latex proteins that may result in allergic reactions. 1% to 6% of the general population is allergic to latex*; almost anyone can develop such an allergy with repeated exposure.
