Nickel Squeegee outperforms steel and polyurethane.
March 12, 2003 - Squeegee lubricity reduces friction when applying solder pastes, which minimizes wear and extends stencil and squeegee life. Chemical-resistant product includes blades that can be rotated as they wear to provide four working faces. Adjustable holder, used with squeegees, provides unique geometry that optimizes material roll, facilitating faster print speeds.

New Nickel Squeegees Outperform Steel and Polyurethane
Lincoln, RI USA -- EFD's new nickel squeegees provide better print quality and longer life than stainless steel and polyurethane squeegees, at a fraction of the cost.
Nickel's superior lubricity reduces friction when applying solder pastes, which minimizes wear and extends both stencil and squeegee life. And because it is harder than other metals used to make squeegees, it is more difficult to damage than stainless steel and polymer-coated squeegee surfaces.
The new squeegees provide excellent paste roll, and greater chemical-resistance than stainless steel. They are also very cost-effective, because the blades can be rotated as they wear to provide 4 new working faces - twice as many as perforated squeegee blades.
The adjustable squeegee holder used with EFD Nickel Squeegees provides a unique geometry that optimizes material roll, facilitating faster print speeds.
