For network service applications, rackmount PL-80460 is built with Intel® Embedded IA components and supports single Intel® 32 nm i3/i5/i7 and Intel E3-xx processors. Modular system supports 4 GbE LAN in standard configuration, up to 28 GbE in copper, or 24 GbE in fiber. Along with support for 4 unbuffered and non-ECC DDR3 1,066/1,333 MHz DIMM sockets with memory up to 32 GB, features include USB 2.0 and RJ-45 ports, 3.5 in. SATA HDD and CompactFlash(TM) interfaces, and PCI expansion slot.

WIN Enterprises Announces 2U Network Appliance with Intel® i3/i5/i7 Processors and up to 28x GbE
NORTH ANDOVER, MA: WIN Enterprises, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of embedded controllers and platforms for OEMs, announces the PL-80460, a 2U rackmount platform designed for network service applications. The device is built with Intel® Embedded IA components that enable long product life versus commercial processor versions.
PL-80460 supports single Intel® 32nm i3/i5/i7 (code name Sandy Bridge) and Intel E3-xx processors. This is a modular system that will support 4 GbE LAN in its standard configuration, but up to 28 GbE in copper or 24 GbE in fiber, depending on OEM requirements. The front panel has one USB 2.0 port, one RJ-45 console port and LED indicators that monitor power and storage activities. PL-80460 is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.
PL-80460 is a mid-level platform that supports OEM applications such as firewall, packet inspection, SPAM filtering, VPN, UTM, financial, and internet services.
The platform supports four unbuffered and non-ECC DDR3 1066/1333MHz DIMM sockets with memory up to 32 GB. Storage interfaces include two 3.5" SATA HDD and one CompactFlash(TM). PL-80460 also supports one PCI expansion slot.
