Intended for network service applications, rackmount PL-80700 is built with Intel® Embedded IA components, supports Intel Atom(TM) D2550/N2600 low-voltage processors (Cedarview), and integrates ICH10R I/O controller. Appliance also supports DDR3 SODIMM slot with memory to 4 GB and is available with one 3.5 or 2.5 in. SATA HDD and CompactFlash(TM). Optional onboard Cavium Nitrox Lite CN505 is offered to provide hardware-level cryptographic acceleration. Multiple I/O options are standard.

WIN Enterprises Announces 1U Network Appliance with Intel® Cedarview D2550/N2600 Processors
NORTH ANDOVER, MA: WIN Enterprises, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of embedded controllers and platforms for OEMs, announces the PL-80700, a 1U rackmount hardware platform designed for network service applications. Built with Intel®
Embedded IA components that provide OEMs with long market life, the device supports Intel® Atom(TM) D2550, N2600 low-voltage processors (code named Cedarview) and the ICH10R I/O controller.
The platform supports a high bandwidth DDR3 SODIMM slot with memory to 4GB. To provide optimum network performance the storage interfaces include one 3.5"/2.5" SATA HDD and CompactFlash(TM). An optional onboard Cavium Nitrox Lite CN505 is offered to provide hardware-level cryptographic acceleration. This separate security chip leaves more CPU computing power for higher-layer packet processing and other work by the main processor.
PL-80700 offers six GbE copper LANs with bypass function available from the front-panel. The front panel also has two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ-45 console port, and LED indicators for monitoring power and storage activities. PL-80700 supports one mini-card socket. The appliance is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.
