July 7, 2011 - Designed to optimize 2-dimensional packaging, NestLib® 2011 R2 provides high-speed algorithms for fully automated true shape nesting. In addition to saving material while producing parts, software also allows reuse of waste material for future requirements. Release 2 can handle piercing data attached to part while nesting, and offers multi-tool support for cutting different edges in part by incorporating different tool compensation in nested layout.

Geometric Releases NestLib® 2011 R2 with Improved Material Savings


New features in nesting to meet advance cutting requirements

The highlights of NestLib® 2011 R2 are:

o Material saving, using the improved grid algorithm

o Multi-tool support for cutting different edges in a part by incorporating different tool compensation in the nested layout

o Capability to handle piercing data attached to a part while nesting
