NAVIGON Launches Its Own Consumer Brand Navigation Products
The leading provider of navigation software seizes center stage at Europe's CeBIT with the debut of two impressive NAVIGON-branded devices
CHICAGO, March 16 /-- NAVIGON, creators of the software that powers more brand name navigation products than any other solution, this week launched its first NAVIGON brand consumer devices. NAVIGON unveiled the 5100 and 7100 models at CeBIT, the massive consumer electronics show in Hanover, Germany. The models will hit store shelves in April in Europe. A North American launch will follow mid-summer.
Both the NAVIGON 5100 and 7100 models present a bold challenge to established navigation brand players. They pair handsome form factors with the premium-quality navigation software for which NAVIGON has become known.

It offers the same NAVIGON premium software under its hood -- including Lane Assistance, Reality View, subscription-free traffic, and Zagat Survey reviews and ratings. Smaller in size, it will also be smaller in price. NAVIGON will release MSRP just prior to the summer launch of the systems.
