Native PCIe Card offers multi-function capabilities.
October 12, 2010 -
Model BU-67X06K takes advantage of PCIe features, power management, and bandwidth to expand capabilities of MIL-STD-1553 for embedded and test applications. Design does not require PCI-E to PCI bridging, features x1 lane PCIe interface, and supports Message Signaled Interrupt (MSI). Up to 4 dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 channels can each operate concurrently as bus controller, Multi-RT (0-31), and bus monitor.

Native PCI-e Card x1 Lane with MSI Support!
Bohemia, New York - Data Device Corporation (DDC) introduces a new MIL-STD-1553 native PCI-Express card offering increased data rate performance, along with powerful multi-function (BC + Multi-RT + Monitor) capabilities.
The native PCI-e BU-67X06K card takes full advantage of the advanced features, enhanced power management, and expanded bandwidth that PCI-Express has to offer, expanding the capabilities of MIL-STD-1553 for both embedded and test applications. The PCI-e card design, in conjunction with its expanded feature set and scalability, make it ideal for data intensive applications and future programs demanding even greater data requirements.
The BU-67X06K card's bridgeless PCI Express design reduces access time, while offering:
Native PCI-Express design - does not require restrictive PCI-E to PCI bridging
Message Signaled Interrupt (MSI) support - reduces interrupt latency
x1 lane PCI-e interface - offers maximum flexibility for new and upgrade applications
Up to 4 dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 channels each operating concurrently as a Bus Controller (BC) , Multi-RT (0 to 31), and a Bus Monitor (MT)
Software configurable bus coupling and termination options
"The future of the PC industry is PCI-Express, and DDC's BU-67X06K is the perfect match of MIL-STD-1553 multi-function utility and PCI-Express connectivity. The introduction of the BU-67X06k comes at an optimum time when PCI slots are quickly disappearing, replaced by hi-speed PCI-Express slots, and application demands for higher data rates and bandwidth continually expand", stated Sean Sleicher, DDC's Data Bus Marketing Manager.
