V.J. Electronix Introduces Nanofocus X-Ray Tube for Sharp, Magnified Images
Bohemia, NY - V.J. Electronix, a division of V.J. Technologies, Inc. and manufacturer of x-ray inspection systems, introduces the nanofocus tube for obtaining x-ray images of areas as small as 0.5 micrometers (500 nanometers). The nanofocus tube provides high levels of magnification with sharp image resolution. The wide x-ray beam angle on the source provides the added ability to inspect at high magnification levels using oblique views. The source comes with a self-contained forced air-cooling system, thus making it compact and low maintenance. This new technology, along with V.J. Electronix proprietary Advanced Defect Recognition (ADR) software, provides sharp image resolution and high levels of magnification to analyze defects such as fine bond wire cracks, tiny voids in flip chip solder balls, or microvias. The nanofocus tube is available as an option for all of V.J. Electronix standard x-ray inspection systems.
