NTMA Meeting to feature UR introduction by Arthur Machinery.

Arthur Machinery-Florida will host West Coast Florida NTMA January 9, 2014 meeting at their office/showroom from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. In addition to dinner being served, CNC as well as manual machines will be on display. Universal Robots (UR) showing will be followed by a brief presentation. Pre-registration is required for this event, and NTMA welcomes non-members to attend.

Arthur Introduces Universal Robots (UR) at NTMA Meeting
Tampa, Florida:Â Arthur Machinery-Florida is hosting the West Coast Florida NTMA January 9, 2014 meeting at their office/showroom. Times: 6:00 PM-9:00 PM
Dinner will be served and CNC & Manual machines will be on display. The “Universal Robots” will be shown followed by a brief presentation. The UR robots have reinvented the industrial robot. These modern and flexible industrial robots open up new “affordable” ways to streamline production of Machine Tools.
Arthur is impressed with the extremely compact design and with the “unique” ability to be used without expensive safety guarding. The robots are lightweight and can be easily moved around within the customer’s facility.
Programming is simple and is done intuitively. Simply grab the robot arm and show it the desired movement. The UR robots are smart and simple. Operators can be trained in 5 to 10 minutes, compared to hours on other robots. The UR can be used to open/close machine doors, eliminating the need for an auto door.
Arthur will offer these affordable robots for many customer applications.
