Count On Introduces PB Tools' PB 304 Multipurpose Mallet
GAINESVILLE, GA - Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, introduces the PB 304 Multipurpose Mallet from PB Swiss Tools. PB Swiss Tools mallets are extremely robust and feature a unique construction.
The wooden handles consist of FSC-certified hickory from the U.S. The dimensions of the mallets are adapted to the weights of the hammer heads and they are better balanced in the hand than normal standard shafts. Cushioning the recoil by weights in the mallet body allows full and precise strikes.
The multipurpose mallet features two different shaped heads made of durable, wear-resistant polyamide. The hardened head features a steel plate (approximately 5 mm thick) covering the polyamide head for a flat striking surface best suited for locksmith work and other heavy-duty applications. The soft head features a crowned striking surface made of the special polyamide material for precise, fine striking and other gentle or light-duty applications.
PB Swiss Tools mallets without rebound feature weighted discs instead of shot to better balance the striking force of the hammer. The discs allow a more hard-wearing design of the steel middle piece than is possible with pellet-filled mallets. The discs are thrown downward upon impact and absorb the recoil, providing a full, accurate blow every time.
Replacement heads are available for worn or damaged tools. Additionally, the new Heavy Duty Hammer head can be purchased individually for customers that want to retrofit existing PB Swiss Tools hammers.
