Ricoh Teams with Sepialine on Cost Recovery Solution

Argos Embedded Copy Tracking for Ricoh Now Available

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Sept. 8 -- Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced the availability of the Sepialine(R) Argos Embedded Copy Tracking solution for all Java-enabled Ricoh multifunction products (MFPs). A scalable, user-friendly software-based solution, Argos Embedded Copy Tracking streamlines both document workflow and client billing.

Argos Embedded Copy Tracking minimizes time spent at the MFP by end users. No longer do users have to go through several steps before they can insert a print job command. Now, they can simply log in at the MFP, perform copy, scan or fax jobs as usual, and then return to their desktop to complete the accounting process by allocating the job to a specific code. By enabling them to assign the job at their desktop, organizations provide end users with a standardized billing experience that enhances billing accuracy.

"As part of the Ricoh Technology Alliance Program, Sepialine works closely with Ricoh to develop effective document management solutions that fulfill our clients' business needs," said Jeremy Evans, CEO, Sepialine. "As part of our successful Argos Cost Recovery System, Sepialine is confident that clients will be pleased with the performance and workflow of this customized copy tracking solution. We are pleased to add Ricoh to the growing list of partners that work with the Argos System."

While the copy tracking software is installed on the Ricoh MFP, Sepialine's Desktop Billing Client is installed on users' workstations. As a result, Argos Embedded Copy Tracking can be configured to support an unlimited number of end users and corporate environments, offering growing organizations great flexibility.

"Working with Sepialine, we are able to deliver a solution that offers improved accounting and workflow productivity," said Hede Nonaka, executive vice president Ricoh Americas Corporation. "We know that our clients will be more than pleased with the features on the Argos Embedded Copy Tracking system and the positive effect it will have on operational efficiency."

Sepialine is a member of Ricoh's Technology Alliance Program, which is comprised of third-party software and hardware companies that specialize in niche solution offerings that complement Ricoh technologies. Through the program, leading software companies, content management systems integrators and consulting companies work with Ricoh to provide innovative and effective software, digital imaging and content/document management solutions for the business community.
