Supervised Wireless Exit Stopper® Multifunction Door Alarm

Supervised Wireless Exit Stopper® Multifunction Door Alarm

March 22, 2011 - STI's Wireless Exit Stopper helps solve the problem of unauthorized exits and entries through fire or emergency doors. When activated, the local alarm transmits a signal to an STI receiver, alerting the site has been triggered. The multifunction door alarm is excellent in helping increase workplace security.

The supervised Wireless Exit Stopper alerts if a protected door is opened (requires 4-Channel Receiver STI-34104 or 8-Channel Receiver STI-34108, sold separately). When activated, it emits an ear piercing alarm (as preset by the user) for 30 seconds, three minutes or continuously and sends a radio signal to the receiver (up to 1000 foot line of sight range), alerting it has been triggered. Another option for the alarm is annunciator mode. In this mode it announces door entry with a set of 10 beeps and then resets. When used in alarm mode, a key operated override will silence the alarm and allow authorized exits through the door. The alarm can serve as an inexpensive workplace security device and help stop theft as well.

Sound intensity choices include 95 or 105 dB. The polycarbonate housing is backed by a lifetime guarantee against breakage in normal use and one year on electro mechanical and electronic components. For indoor use only.
