Warren, Michigan, Aug. 6, 2003 - Seco-Carboloy's new solid carbide multi-tooth indexable 396.19 threadmill line increases feed and reduces machining time for cost savings. Designed for both internal and external threading, the new threadmills also achieve closer tolerances than single tooth cutters.
Designed for hole diameters 7/8 inch (22 mm) and larger, the new cutters are available in various profiles with different pitches. All inserts for the 396.16 family of cutters are double-sided and 1.57 in. (40mm) long, offering increased thread length capability for most pitches. The inserts are available in Grade F30M for toughness and wear-resistance in all materials or uncoated Grade H15 for applications requiring increased wear-resistance.
