Style, Size, Application Versatility in Multi-Tasking Pull Handles

Fixtureworks® (Fraser, MI), leading North American manufacturer and supplier of workholding technologies and machine tool components, announces that it now offers the full lineup of carrying, lifting and open/close pull handles from Kipp -one of Germany's premier manufacturers of manual operating elements. With the inclusion of the 11 styles of pull handles, featuring over 180 different sizes, materials, finishes and configurations, the Kipp units complement Fixtureworks' extensive offering of workholding, clamping, gripping and operational products for a wide range of applications.

The pull handles are available in cast iron, duro- and thermoplastic, stainless steel, and aluminum materials to accommodate varying tasks and environmental conditions. All variations feature ergonomic design elements for efficient operation and comfort with full round, oval or contoured rectangular profiles, plus a version with formed finger ridges along with a heavy duty series consistent with Kipp's NOVO-GRIP® handle line.

As part of the NOVO-GRIP products, these pull handles, ideal for OEM applications, incorporate a modern European design and color availability that is replicated in the other NOVO-GRIP products-knurled knobs, mushroom knobs, ball and five-lobe grips, handwheels and positioning wheels along with crank handles-to establish a continuous overall appearance for projects.

Available pull handle lengths extend from a compact 55mm all the way up to a 600mm long unit (measured from centerline of mounting fasteners), while some 3-piece sectional construction handles can be provided with custom length center tube to match specific application needs. Load bearing capacities range from 500 N to 1500 N. Other options included both tapped bushing and stud mounting from behind, attractive design front mounting methods, and handles with cover plates. Finishes include tumble and black powder coating for the cast iron pulls, high polished duroplast, blasted and electrolytic polished, natural or black anodize on stainless steel, natural or black anodize on aluminum, vibration ground and matte finish brushed. The 3-piece stainless tube handles feature a finely ground center tube or tube can be furnished with serrated black plastic covering. The NOVO-GRIP series of pull handles also incorporate multi-piece construction with end mounting cover components made from thermoplastic while the central tube grip is supplied in aluminum with powder coating in gray, two shades of red, or blue, or as an anodized black or in a natural anodize condition. Three mounting options are offered.

Besides the line of pull handles, Fixtureworks also offers all of Kipp's Novo-Grip products, plus spring plungers, rest and riser pads, tension levers and torque handles, knurled nuts, ball knobs, and handwheels.
