Based on 1.1 GHz Intel Pentium M processor, fanless ONYX-170/190 are 17/19 in. medical stations that support 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM up to 1 GB. Units include 4 COM ports, 7 USB 2.0 ports, 1 parallel port, 1 S-video out, and 1 optional S-Video in. In addition to providing PCI and mini PCI expansion interfaces, stations can accommodate optional Smart Card Reader, WLAN, DVD or Slim CD, and 8-in-1 Card Reader on side panel.

The ONYX-170/190's advance features take medical equipments to the next level. The ONYX-170/190 are based on Intel Pentium M 1.1GHz processor and support 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM up to 1GB (DDR266/333). For versatile medical environments, the ONYX-170/190 provides flexible expansion interfaces which are PCI and mini PCI for further expansions. The ONYX-170/190 also offers integrated optional functions in the medical stations, such as Smart Card Reader Security, 802.11g Wireless antenna for data transmission, and optional Mini PCI capture card (supports non-DICOM to DICOM CAM).
Flexible I/O expansion is another key feature of the ONYX-170/190. The ONYX-170/190 equip 4 COM ports (3 RS-232 and 1 RS-232/422/485), 7 USB2.0, 1 Parallel port, 1 S-Video out and 1 S-Video in (optional). Furthermore, these models accommodate optional Smart Card Reader, WLAN, DVD or Slim CD and standard equipment-8-in-1 Card Reader on the side panel.
