Qualitest Introduces DigiTest II Automatic Motorized Durometer
The well known and much appreciated automatic motorized durometer DigiTest has been further developed and redesigned to meet the latest challenges for hardness measurement in the SHORE, IRHD and VLRH scales. The new DigiTest II features an optimized pick-up bracket, new electronics, additional measuring devices and USB interface for data transmission.
The DigiTest II hardness measurement system is of a modular design and allows the user to combine components that fully meets their common and unique requirements at an attractive price. The new DigiTest II electronic control unit can be combined with a large variety of test heads that measures SHORE, IRHD and VLRH (soft and very soft elastomers). The test heads are automatically recognized by the control unit and no further setup is required.
The new electronic unit features a logical and easy to use display which allows for easy menu navigation and full access to test results. The measured value and measurement time are numerically and graphically displayed. With the new design and added features DigiTest II is an extremely accurate, fast and easy to use hardness testing system for rubber, plastic and elastomers.
Combining the DigiTest II system with Qualitest automatic optical positioning system Barofix allows for two point testing and thickness measurement. The tester can also be integrated in automatic production processes. Current users of DigiTest can easily upgrade their current measurement system to work with DigiTest II.
