Operating at frequency of 150 MHz, DSP evaluation motion control kit includes TMS320F1812 DSP, 32-bit fix-point Flash DSP, and interface/driver circuits for DC motor and Servomotor. TI DSP evaluation board BMCK2812 drives motors and TMS320F2812 series DSP control systems based on TMS320F2812 DSPs, and uses independent power supply for A/D sampling, avoiding EMI from computing unit. Kit has 128k*16 bits on-chip flash memory, 18k*16 bits on-chip SRAM, and 512k*16 bits extended SRAM.

High Voltage TI Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Motion Control Kit
Toronto, Canada - GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) is introducing its TI DSP evaluation board (BMCK2812), an upgrade to its popular 2812EVM-I evaluation board. The newly developed board has been optimized for driving motors and TMS320F2812 series DSP control systems based on TMS320F2812 DSPs. It uses an independent power supply for A/D sampling, which avoids EMI from the computing unit.
The advanced DSP evaluation motion control kit includes a TMS320F1812 DSP, a 32-bit fix-point Flash DSP, interface/driver circuits for DC motor and Servomotor and operates at a frequency of 150MHz. It has 128k*16 bits on-chip flash memory and can encrypt flash. The motion control kit offers 18k*16 bits on-chip SRAM and 512k*16 bits extended SRAM which works as program/data RAM. Nine independent push button switches, four graphic LCD fixed mounting holes and eight LEDs make the NE2000 compatible kit easy to set up and operate. The control kit provides RS-232, RS-485 and CAN2.0 interfaces for PC communication. There is a DC motor control interface and a stepper motor control interface; two extended unshielded interrupt inputs and five extended shielded interrupt inputs; thus the kit effectively deals with many solutions related to TI DSP evaluation.
