Lexmark Powers Productivity with New Monochrome Laser Printing Technology
LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 23 / -- Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE:LXK) today introduced Lexmark's first monochrome laser printer series to combine new, breakthrough printhead technology, an Instant Warm-Up fuser and two-sided printing standard on every model to help customers increase productivity and reduce costs and waste.
The Lexmark E series features an innovative design that incorporates more than 40 new patents and patent applications to make the printers faster, more reliable and more energy-efficient. In addition, the Lexmark E series offers a new Quiet-Mode, which optimizes settings to deliver one of the quietest laser printers in the industry.
The Lexmark E series features industry-first printhead technology that uses a miniature, pivoting mirror to reduce moving parts and increase reliability. To help ensure that the printer is always ready when customers need to print, the Instant Warm-Up fuser technology on the Lexmark E series reduces the time to first print to as fast as 6.5 seconds, even from sleep mode.
All models also support the new Microsoft(R) Windows Vista(TM) platform.

Lexmark E250d and E250dn
The Lexmark E250d prints at speeds up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) and is the lowest priced laser printer with two-sided printing standard in the industry at $199*. For customers who want to share the device between multiple users, the Lexmark E250dn has networking standard and is available for $249*.
Lexmark E350d and E352dn
The Lexmark E350d features an LCD display and has the fastest rated print speed in its class, delivering up to 35 ppm performance for $349*. It also has the highest yield cartridge option in its class with a 9,000-page** aftermarket toner cartridge, which saves customers time because the cartridges have to be replaced less frequently. For workgroups, the Lexmark E352dn includes networking and is available for $449*.
Lexmark E450dn
The Lexmark E450dn adds a graphical user interface, enhanced security features and is designed to support advanced solutions for larger workgroups and enterprise customers. Available for $599*, the Lexmark E450dn has the fastest time to first page in its class. It offers high usage customers an even lower cost per page option with an 11,000 page** aftermarket toner cartridge.
