Designed for vent channel formation and shell repair, ResinAid 3691(TM) pink one-part acrylic adhesive cures tack-free in less than 20 sec on exposure to UV or visible light of right intensity. In less than 10 sec, this high viscosity product cures to thickness of 0.060 in., making it a suitable alternative to traditional vent formation materials. Using 6 step process, 3691(TM) ResinAid will effectively repair cracked or damaged hearing aid shells.

High Viscosity Molding Compound for Hearing Aid Vent Tube Assembly and Shell Repair
Rocky Hill, Conn. - April 6, 2006.... Henkel Corporation has added a high viscosity, light curing compound to its line of Loctite' ResinAid' products for hearing aid fabrication, assembly, and repair.
Designed for vent channel formation and shell repair, Loctite' 3691(TM) ResinAid' is a pink one-part acrylic adhesive that cures tack-free in less than 20 seconds on exposure to UV or visible light of the right intensity. In less than 10 seconds, this light cure product can cure to a thickness of 0.060 inches, making it an ideal alternative to traditional, time-intensive vent formation materials. And using a simple, six-step process, Loctite' 3691(TM) ResinAid' will efficiently and effectively repair cracked or damaged hearing aid shells. ISO-10993 biocompatibility is pending for this product.
In addition to Loctite' 3691(TM) ResinAid', the Resinaid' line includes fifteen(15) low viscosity and eight (8) high viscosity molding compounds available in a range of colors including four variations of pink, ten variations of brown, two reds, two blues, and four clear formulations that closely match natural skin tones.
