With ratings of 125 V (1 pole) and 250 V (2-4 poles) up to 63 A, UL489 DC miniature breakers enable service entrance, feeder, or branch circuit protection and disconnect function. They allow for DIN rail mounting and feature positive trip indicator (green/red) and short-circuit interrupt capacity of 10 kA. CE certified and RoHS compliant units come with auxiliary switch, shunt trip, and undervoltage trip. Applications include transit, communications, battery, UPS, and cranes.

INTRODUCED IN DC VERSIONS:
Altech® UL489 DC miniature molded case circuit breakers offer the highest rating in the industry for their type and have been engineered to deliver reliable performance in a wide range of applications. Ratings are 125V (1 pole) and 250V (2-4 poles) up to 63A.
Typical system applications include transit, communications, battery, UPS, and cranes, among others.
Altech UL489 DC breakers enable service entrance, feeder, or branch circuit protection and disconnect function. They are compact at 17.5mm wide per pole. Their design allows for easy DIN rail mounting and features user-friendly positive trip indicator (green/red) and short-circuit interrupt capacity of 10kA.
Available accessories include auxiliary switch, shunt trip, and undervoltage trip. Custom breakers can be developed to satisfy particular application requirements.
The DC breakers join a growing family of Altech AC breaker solutions in three UL ratings (489, 508, and 1077) providing users with a variety of cost-effective solutions to meet application demands.
