Blending Carnauba wax and synthetic polymers, Formula 7925 releases polyester and fiberglass on all FRP tooling, high-pressure laminates, metal, and other hard surface molds. Designed for use at mold temperatures from 70-200°F, product produces minimal build up and enables streak-free high-gloss finish after polishing. Applications include resin transfer molding, polyester or polyurethane open molding hand lay-ups and spray-ups, vacuum bag molding, and compression molding.

Leslie, MI - Extensive lab testing and validation have proven Huron Technologies' new mold release, Formula 7925, as a superior paste wax for composite molded parts. Formula 7925 is a unique blend of Carnauba wax and high performance synthetic polymers proven to release polyester and fiberglass on all fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) tooling, high-pressure laminates, metal, and other hard surface molds.
Formula 7925 delivers excellent release for a variety of applications including:
Resin transfer molding (RTM)
Polyester or polyurethane open molding hand lay-ups and spray-ups
Vacuum bag molding
Compression molding
Designed for use at mold temperatures from 70-200°F (21-93°C), Formula 7925 supplies consistent release with minimal build up with potential for a streak-free high gloss finish after polishing.
Formula 7925 is available in paste wax cans and 5 gallon pail containers.
