August 5, 2003 - Water-based FrekoteŽ AqualineŽ PUR-100 is suited for releasing rigid, high-density polyurethane foam and cast polyurethane parts. It delivers multiple releases from one application and can also release some low-density polyurethane foams. Non-toxic, non-flammable coating is freeze/thaw stable and formulated with very low levels of VOCs. Mold release agent does not settle and requires no agitation prior to application.

FrekoteŽ Mold Release Agent for Polyurethane Substrates


Rocky Hill, Conn. - July 28, 2003.... Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced FrekoteŽ AqualineŽ PUR-100, a water-based mold release agent developed for releasing rigid, high density polyurethane foam and cast polyurethane parts.

Frekote Aqualine PUR-100 is designed to deliver multiple releases from a single application and can release certain low-density polyurethane foams. Non-toxic and non-flammable, the coating is freeze/thaw stable and environmentally friendly, formulated with very low levels of VOCs. Parts molded with PUR-100 can be painted without any interim post-finishing or cleaning steps. As this mold release agent will not settle, it requires no agitation prior to application.
