Able to be installed on ½ in. or larger ball valve, PRBa directly inserts into live pressurized pipeline and negates need to shut down pipeline when inserting/removing for service. NIST-calibrated device will not exhaust gas while making measurement, and 12 in. travel allows for insertion into larger diameter pipelines. Transmitter reports measurement in user-selectable measurements, including pounds of water per million standard cubic feet (lbs/MMscf) from 0-1,100 lb/MMscf.

Phymetrix Introduces the First and Only Insertion Probe for Moisture Measurement in Natural Gas
The Phymetrix PRBa is the first and only moisture analyzer probe designed to directly insert into a "live" pressurized pipeline, thus avoiding the need to shut down the pipeline when inserting or removing for re-calibration or pipeline service.
The Phymetrix PRBa has an all stainless steel construction, is small enough to be installed on a ½" or larger Ball Valve, seals with ¼" Swagelok tube fittings and has a 12" travel for insertion even into the largest diameter pipelines.
The Phymetrix PRBa meets the new environmental requirements of not exhausting gas while making a measurement at a lower cost than an extractive sample system.
The transmitter can report the measurement directly in pounds of water per million standard cubic feet (Lbs/MMSCF), with a range from 0 - 1100 Lbs/MMSCF. Other moisture measurement units (see below) are also user selectable.
