Designed for Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, module provides maximized image quality at 45° angle that covers entire inspection area of orthogonal camera. Images can be captured from any angle position in 1° steps. Various illumination variants and inspection functions are incorporated and unit is suited for inspecting concealed solder joints and components as well as PCBs. It is available with OptiCon BasicLine, OptiCon AdvancedLine, and OptiCon TurboLine systems.

Worldwide Unrivalled Angled-View in GOEPEL Electronic's AOI Systems

The new module generates a hitherto unrivalled field of view with excellent image quality at a 45° angle. With this the orthogonal camera's entire inspection area is covered.
Making the inspection of solder joints and components concealed by other components much more accurate. Images can be captured from any angle position in 1° steps. Fault detection also increases in critical situations on PCBs, which could only be tested insufficiently up to now. Various illumination variants combined with intelligent inspection functions are the basis for maximum fault coverage at minimal false-call rate.
This new dimension in angled-view inspection is available for the OptiCon BasicLine stand-alone AOI system as well as the inline systems OptiCon AdvancedLine and OptiCon TurboLine.
