Roberts-Gordon Innovates Infrared Industry with First Patent Pending, Fully Modulating Unitary Heater

Buffalo, New York - Roberts-Gordon, an international manufacturer of low- and high intensity, gas-fired infrared heating equipment for over 40 years, introduces the VANTAGE® MODULATING heater - the infrared industry's first fully modulating unitary heater. The VANTAGE® MODULATING heater provides increased fuel efficiency by modulation, the adjustment of both fuel and combustion air, resulting in efficient and optimum combustion throughout the full range of burner inputs.

The heater has comprehensive on-board diagnostics for fault and system status to provide system information and ease of service. In addition, burner modulation can be fully automatic or manual control to suit different applications. Available in natural gas or propane, the heater has a hot surface electronic ignition control for reliable start up.

CSA design certified, the VANTAGE® MODULATING burner has a protective enclosure for the controls to minimize exposure to dirt and moisture from combustion air. Also, the heater has durable components, such as heat treated aluminized tubing, for longer life. The VANTAGE® MODULATING heater is ideal for a variety of applications such as manufacturing areas, warehouses, loading docks and auto body repair shops.

Roberts-Gordon offers fully modulating products in both systems and unitary design. In 2003, the company introduced the first true modulating infrared heating system, with the combination of ULTRAVACâ„¢ Controls to modulate CORAYVAC® burners. Roberts-Gordon's additional products include VANTAGE® II, VANTAGE® EV, VANTAGE® HE, VANTAGE® TF, GORDONRAY® BH, GORDONRAY® NP, CARIBE® and GORDONGLOâ„¢.

With corporate headquarters in Buffalo, Roberts-Gordon also has facilities in Canada and the U.K. and is supported by a worldwide network of independent distributors. For product literature or information, please call 716.852.4400 or access the company's website at www.rg-inc.com.
