Featuring Vee block design and high-tensile adjustable chain, Dual Modular-Style Fixture is adjustable for holding wide variety of different parts. Unit expands and contracts along X-Y-Z axes to suit largest and smallest parts by rearranging basic location of clamping and locating components. Fixture is suited for steam valve industry, which normally requires irregular shaped valves to be machined one at a time.

Royal Machine & Tool Expands Concept of Modular Fixturing
Berlin, CT - A specially designed Dual Modular-Style Fixture that permits the holding of two (2) Strainer Valves on one fixture has been developed by Royal Machine & Tool. The unit's unique Vee Block Design and High Tensile Adjustable Chain provide an adjusting capability for holding a wide variety of different parts.
The new development of Dual Modular Fixtures is of particular importance to the Steam Valve Industry because of the difficulty in machining irregular shaped valves which normally require their being machined one at a time. Other possible applications are high volume, irregular shaped parts in other valve industries.
Designed and built in the USA to custom requirements, Royal Modular Fixtures reduce the number of dedicated fixtures required for a given family of parts. The systems are designed to expand and contract along the X-Y-Z axes to suit the largest and smallest parts by rearranging the basic location of clamping and locating components. Modular Fixturing Systems include self-centering Vees with adjustments (in all axes) which substantially reduce load and unload time.
