Made of high tensile strength aluminum/magnesium alloy 535, 2-piece Model 104S-6 Side Outlet Cross Modular Fitting can be used in any structural application using 1 in. IPS components. Electrolytic corrosion free alloy can be used with other metal, including carbon or stainless steel. It can attach to and detach from existing structures, and are intended for modifying or upgrading existing structures without major disassembly.

Hollaender Manufacturing Adds Versatile New "Side Outlet Cross" Fitting to Speed-RailŪ Line of Modular Fittings
CINCINNATI, OH (April 4, 2008) - Hollaender has introduced the new 104S-6 Side Outlet Cross Modular Fitting, adding flexibility to the company's popular line of Speed-Rail Modular Fittings. The Side Outlet Cross is a 2-piece fitting, made of high tensile strength, aluminum/magnesium alloy 535.
Originally designed for retail wall racking systems, the new fitting can be used in any structural application using 1 inch IPS components. All Speed-Rail components are designed to easily attach to and detach from existing structures, and are often used to modify or upgrade existing structures without major disassembly.
It has physical strength characteristics comparable to that of malleable iron at only one-third the weight. This alloy can be used with any other metal, including carbon or stainless steel, without fear of electrolytic (dissimilar metal) corrosion.
