July 28, 2006 - Available in 24 models that provide single outputs from 2.5-24 Vdc, Series ASD50 accepts 2:1 input from 9-72 Vdc and is designed to meet power conversion requirements in board-level applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O. All models include continuous short circuit protection and internal input filter, as well as 1,500 Vdc I/O isolation. Fully encapsulated with aluminum cases, converters operate from -40 to +100°C.

Designed to meet power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O, ASTRODYNE announces the ASD50 Series modular packaged DC/DC converters that provide an output power of 25 to 50 Watts. The ASD50 Series accept a 2:1 wide range input from 9VDC to 72VDC and 24 models are available that provide single outputs from 2.5VDC to 24VDC. All models in the ASD50 Series contain continuous short circuit protection and an internal input filter, eliminating the need for the addition of external components. All models are pinout and size compatible industry standards. In addition, the ASD50 Series is UL, cUL and TUV approved and provides 1500VDC input-to-output isolation. The operating case temperature range is -40 to +100°C. The units are fully encapsulated, with aluminum cases.
