Everett Charles Technologies releases new high reliability standard connector family
Pomona, California, -- Everett Charles Technologies (ECT) introduces a new modular connector family for a broad range of applications in the electrical market. These connectors are dedicated to provide highest reliability and life cycle of more than 100k cycles and therefore are the superior solution for any high cycle deployment. ECT leverages the experience with the existing high performance contacts to offer these new modular connectors. The adjustable architecture ensures both, economies of scale and customized fit to existing environment.
Technically the reliability is based on multiple features, such as active biasing to allow for continual internal contact, a deep draw plunger make for a low mass had to cope with shock and vibration as well as an advanced compliance to overcome planarity issues.
Each contact is capable to carry 10 Amps. The contact point pitches down to .100’ are supported. Various footprints are available from 1 x 2 to 2 x 10 and can be combined with one of three end configurations: long through hole, standards through hole and surface mount. The “Quick Builder” on the ECT website helps to define the details to request for a quote.
