SpanGuard Safety Barrier Helps Improve Safety Inside Your Facility

Milwaukee, WI - The SpanGuard Safety Barrier, from Rite-Hite Corporation, is designed to separate and define large work areas, long walkways, interior loading docks or can be used to protect openings in the floor.

Painted yellow lines, steel guards or "homemade" designs have limitations when trying to maximize safety and productivity. The SpanGuard Safety Barrier helps improve facility safety by providing a 48" high visual barrier and is available in 30' or 60' spans connected between two steel mounting posts.

The SpanGuard is easy to operate, requiring one person less than two minutes to position or remove the unit. For opening widths less than 30' or 60', the excess curtain can be retracted into the storage cylinder.

The SpanGuard curtain is constructed of black PVC-coated vinyl mesh with two 4" high black and yellow polyester straps and fiberglass rods on 10' centerlines. The storage cylinder is 14" diameter black ABS and is easily rotated 90 degrees to facilitate easy storage. The steel mounting posts are 4" square x 49" tall powder coat painted safety yellow. The unit is designed to stop 200 lbs. of force with minimal deflection.

The SpanGuard can be used in multiple configurations by utilizing corner post(s) and two or more units can be linked together with a common member post(s).
