WALTHAM, Mass.- Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM) with more than 1 billion Red Bend-Enabled(TM) devices, today introduced a new addition to its suite of Mobile Software Management solutions that closes the "visibility gap" for service providers by providing new insight into consumers' true experience with their mobile devices and services. Red Bend's vSense Mobile(TM) for Mobile Software Analytics gives mobile operators and device manufacturers deeper understanding about device performance, application behavior and user preferences from the unique perspective of consumers' Android devices. With the addition of vSense Mobile, Red Bend's Software Management and Analytics solution becomes the first to both analyze software behavior to uncover usage trends, and then continuously deploy improved software versions and new services to increase subscriber revenue and consumer satisfaction.

Red Bend's vSense Mobile is a non-intrusive, customizable Analytics Client that monitors mobile devices to uncover trends about application usage, including:
o Software and application inventory and usage statistics
o Application network consumption and resource utilization
o Usage behavior patterns and statistics
o Device performance and software faults
Device data is collected and periodically sent in the background over any mobile network or Wi-Fi connection and aggregated in the Analytics Center, part of Red Bend's Software Management Center for full lifecycle management of mobile software. Using comprehensive analytics reports, service providers can then take proactive management actions such as updating firmware over the air (FOTA), deploying new applications, improving existing applications or removing software components-all from a centralized back-end management system.
