MicroPact Announces Mobile Version of its Widely Used entellitrak Product

MicroPact announces mobile version of entellitrak this week at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2011 in Orlando, FL

HERNDON, Va., -- MicroPact, a leader in the development of advanced data tracking and management software, today announced that it will make available a mobile version of its popular entellitrak product. entellitrak is used by more federal agencies than any other BPM product. MicroPact will demonstrate entellitrak at its booth # TE8 at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2011, October 16-20, 2011 in Orlando, FL.

MicroPact's entellitrak is an open-architecture business process management platform that can be based on-premises or in the cloud, that can be implemented immediately and configured continuously, and that models workflow and business processes without requiring additional programming. entellitrak can replace everything from simple spreadsheets, to extensive SharePoint or Lotus Notes & Domino applications, all the way up through enterprise level BPM solutions.

entellitrak is ideally suited to mobile application because it is a web-based software application. All configuration data for any individual configuration/application is contained in the application's metadata, an XML file that is separate from the underlying application engine. With this capability even legacy clients will be able to instantly deploy mobile versions of their applications. Because entellitrak is a continually configurable application, any changes to the web based version will also be instantly applied to the mobile version.

"When we roll out entellitrak's mobile capability, it will make the mobile facility immediately available to existing implementations when they upgrade their entellitrak application," said MicroPact President and CEO Kristoffer Collo. "The benefit is that organizations will be able to capture, review and search for data out in the field and on the go."

Recently, MicroPact announced that the U.S. Department of Education (ED) chose entellitrak to help the agency track, manage and report on more than 250 surplus properties nationwide that are available to be conveyed to states and localities for educational purposes at fair market value. This is MicroPact's sixth project with ED.
