SKF® Miniature Slides for Linear Motion Ideal for Short-Stroke Applications

READY-TO-MOUNT COMPACT ASSEMBLIES:

SKF® miniature slides deliver high carrying capacity, smooth motion, and precision guidance for linear motion applications requiring short strokes. Their compact dimensions ideally suit the smallest design envelopes. Typical applications include a wide range of equipment and devices in the fiber optics, medical, pneumatics, semiconductor, microassembly, and electronics industries, among others.

These miniature slides are available in four basic sizes (7, 9, 12, and 15) with widths ranging from 17mm to 32mm and lengths ranging from 26mm through 165mm, depending on model. They can achieve high running accuracies up to 2µ over a stroke of 100mm, depending on application.

Slides are supplied as complete, ready-to-mount units for quick and easy installation. Unlike cross-roller systems using four rails and cages that must be assembled on a production floor, these slides can simply be mounted into place without using precision devices to set preload.

They are manufactured from stainless steel to resist corrosion and hardened to optimize endurance and performance. Custom slide designs can be engineered to satisfy particular application demands.
