VIP Sensors Announces New Miniature Piezoelectric Accelerometer

San Juan Capistrano, California - VIP SENSORS introduces a new product - The Model 2017A is an adhesively mounted piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics (IEPE) that is ideally suited for vibration measurements on small structures and objects. Along with a mass of only 5 grams, it features a high signal-to-noise ratio, two output sensitivities (10 mV/g and 100 mV/g) and a wide bandwidth up to 6 kHz. The accelerometer transmits its low impedance voltage output through the same cable that supplies the constant current power. The Model 2017A design is sealed against external contamination. The accelerometer features a top connector that is used with a 10-foot coaxial cable terminated with a 10-32 connector for error-free operation.

VIP Sensors offers a range of piezoelectric and voltage mode accelerometers, signal conditioners, data acquisition systems, cable assemblies and accessories. Shock and vibration calibration services are also available for all types of accelerometers. The company's strength is in its technical expertise in sensor and electronics design. VIP Sensors' goal is to provide state-of-the-art, quality products at a very competitive price.
